Bryant 233 Boat

What makes a Bryant boat? It’s the performance on the water.

How does this boat builder do it? A hand laid fiberglass stringer system and a molded hand laid fiberglass cockpit sole all added into a hand laid hull AND hand laid deck in a unique hull shape with a unique balance point.

Note, there is no chopper gun in the Bryant plant. All the parts of the boat are built using layers built up of dry-laid cloth and hand brushed-in resin which is then combined into a solid unit in the boat, not in the air as thin string glass hairs and air-gun blown resin does that builds far too much weight without enough strength. On the water she is more than precision sharp in turns, solid like a fine German car over wakes (all that hand-laid stuff) and quick up on a level-riding plane (the attention to hull design and care in setting the balance point). Take a ride and feel no shake as you cross a wake.

Are they sharp looking boats? Yes, with more color lines and accent stripes built into the fiberglass hull. Like a high priced ski or wakeboard boat, Mr. Joe insists that all of the base color, accent bands, and pin stripe details are built into the gelcoat…not added on top of that gelcoat with last minute tape. Run your finger over the color edges and feel that built into the gelcoat construction detail at a boat show. Fine seating and a upscale helm station coupled with the better engine controls adds to the image of a fine, hand crafted boat.

How does seabuddy like to see a 233 model equipped? With a Mercury Mercruiser Alpha One drive (the fastest top speed family drive on the market) with a V-6 Mercury MerCruiser Multisport Injection (MPI) inboard outboard (Sterndrive) Engine of 220 Hp. Why? This boat design and this builder make this boat in such a manner that the two prop drives are not needed. And this power set-up in the 233 allows for saving some dollars on the power package this year that can go into other B-M-T choices. I like a bimini with a full enclosure, bow cover, trailer disc brakes, a swing away trailer tongue, a galvanized trailer dip finish, a trailer spare tire and its mount, and some other options that add to family boating fun.

LOA for the 233 is 23’ 3” with a 8’ 6” beam and she comes with a 42 gallon gas tank.
